The Districts  just finished up a killer set over at the Marina Stage at this year’s XPoNential Music Festival. While the stage may have been small, their sound was anything but. From the opening riff of their tune “Lyla”, all the way to the set-closer “Dressed to Kill”” the Lancaster-based quartet left the Marina Stage crowd begging for more, impressing a continually growing audience with their unique blend of rock, folk, and the occasional jolt of punk. Whether they’re tearing it up on tracks like “4 and 4” or slowing it down (kind of) with tunes like “Long Distance”, The Districts always seem to have something fresh in store. Their most recent album, Telephone, was released June of 2012. See photos of the performance in the gallery below, read the setlist after the jump, and listen to the set in its entirety here (via the WXPN media player).
