The Districts return home for a show at North Star Bar tonight.  The Lancaster outfit spent the time since their knock-out XPoNential Music Fest appearance touring from Detroit down to New Orleans, even stopping in Rock Island, IL to record a Daytrotter Session.  Tonight the young roots rock band will play alongside Rosu Lup, Coronado and Pine Barons – tickets and information for the 21+ show can be found here.  Watch The Districts’ recent Out of Town Films video below.

Beta Hi-Fi finalists Commonwealth Choir play The Fire tonight, heading a line-up of Small Houses, Christopher Paul Stelling and Ron Gallo.  The Doylestown natives have a Delta Spirit vibe about them – their debut single “Rest” is an upbeat, Americana pop track that is easy to jump along with.  Tickets and information for tonights 21+ show can be found here.  Stream and download “Rest” below.

The Sun Flights join Maitland at the newly-reimagined Melodies Cafe (formerly MilkBoy Coffee in Ardmore) tonight.  The former released their debut self-titled EP almost a year ago, fitting in between First Aid Kit and Red House Painters.  The latter are recent transplants from Northeast PA and perform soaring, euphoric-ly heartbreaking songs.  Tickets and information for tonight’s show can be found here.  Watch Maitland perform “Embers” below.
