Download / watch The Spinto Band’s synthtastic all-Korg remix of “Shake It Off”

Wilmingtonian indie rock crew The Spinto Band‘s snappy single “Shake It Off” recently got the remix treatment care of a collaboration with Korg Synthesizers. While this might sound a bit promotions-y, it makes total sense since the band’s retro-pop leanings tend to make ample use of their line of equipment anyway – it’s a totally natural, complimentary fit. For the gear nerd types, the main things you’ll see at play in the video below are the MS-20 Mini, Monotron Duo, Monotribe, microKORG, along with a bunch of others, and it gives the single a warm and enveloping low-end, driven by a whip-crack beat.
