Have some fun with Dent May in his video for “Born Too Late” (playing MilkBoy on 10/4)

Oddball pop musician Dent May released his third LP Warm Blanket in August, following up 2012’s Do Things.  A staple of Animal Collective’s Paw Tracks label, May’s cheeky, anti-pop tracks call to mind Ariel Pink trying his hand at roller-boogie soul (and succeeding in an infectious way).  In the video for “Born Too Late” off of Warm Blanket, May goes solo on a series of would-be romantic dates.  He spends a night at a county fair in his home state of Mississippi, goes on a high-speed boat ride complete with waterskiing, lounges under a waterfall and takes in an explosive display of fireworks.  May brings his tour to MilkBoy on October 4th; tickets and information for the 21+ show can be found here.  Watch the video below.
