This November former Brooklynites / current West Philly-ites Swearin’ will release their poppy punchy latest LP Surfing Strange on Salinas Records. It’s a solid and infectious mix of riffs, drums and vocals from frontwoman Allison Crutchfield that come across like both a smile and a sneer. Today The Line of Best Fit premiered the opening track on the album, “Dust in the Gold Sack,” and its blend of acoustic guitar and amped-up overdrive will certainly be on heavy rotation around here for the next few hours.
