ElfPowerIn celebration of their October 1st release of Sunlight On The Moon, fantastical psychedelic indie rock outfit Elf Power is coming to Boot and Saddle tonight. The album is the fourteenth full-length the band has released since forming in Athens, Georgia almost two decades ago. With her rich alto voice and her “core band of merry men,” British soul extraordinaire Alice Russell is performing at World Cafe Live tonight. In celebration of her April release of To Dust, Russell is currently on her “Tour Dust” which runs through the end of November. Striving to take the audience on an aural journey, The Burgeoning is coming to World Cafe Live tonight. The five piece, alt-rock outfit released its debut EP Love Alchemy Life Algorithm earlier this year, calling to mind the early aughts breakout albums from like Arctic Monkeys and Bloc Party. The band is playing for Broad Street Music Group‘s inaugural Local and Live night along with BeyHalfroWidow Maker Social ClubDayseam. Find tickets and details here.
