Just the Facts: Day One of the #885countdown of the Greatest Songs of the New Millenium

Yesterday was the first day of the 885 Greatest Songs of the New Millenium countdown. It was a day of musical surprises; we heard songs from Lady Gaga, Kanye West, The Rapture, LMFAO, and Carly Rae Jesperson’s “Call Me Maybe” had some folks looking at their radio dials asking themselves: “Am I on the right station?” There were also plenty of XPN favorites; Richard Thompson, Counting Crows, Spoon, Patty Griffin and The Decemberists.
