Ohio bred R&B artist and actress Macy Gray brings her unique vocals and whimsical musical sense to World Cafe Live tonight for the 14th anniversary of her 1999 release On How Life Is. Philly local indie rock trio Delco Pacers are coming to MilkBoy tonight for a release party of their album Stereo Streets, which comes out Tuesday November 19th. Last month, the band gave a taste of what’s to come by releasing three tracks (“Cheap Seats”, “Netherland”, and “Blue Trucks”) from the upcoming album via Soundcloud. See what our own Elizabeth Joyce had to say about them here. Find tickets for tonight’s party with special guests Morning River Band and The Naked Sun here. Philly alt-hip hop troupe Astronauts Really Fly play their first headlining show tonight at The Blockley. Earlier this year, they released their self-titled EP showing off their unique blend of rock and hip hop arrangements topped with their smooth rhymes and exuberant energy. Self proclaimed as a “mission” rather than a “just a band,” ARF seems to always find the time to reach out and help the fellow community; including their recently successful Turkey Giveaway feeding over 500 people. If you haven’t already gotten a ticket for tonight, let the guys convince you in their concert video below. Find all details for the show here.
