Maybe you still know them as Now Now Every Children. Or maybe you only know Brad as electronic-pop project Sombear. You could you only know Jess as her indie-pop moniker Tancred. Either way, Minnesota-bred indie rock trio Now Now played a nostalgic set last night at Union Transfer.

Squeezed between opening act Harrison Hudson and headlining band Kevin Devine and the Goddamn Band, Now Now was like the satisfying creamy part to an Oreo playing both favorite throwbacks, like their more developed version of “Friends With My Sister” from 2008 release Cars, and more recent tunes, like “Prehistoric” off of 2012 Threads. Although excited to go home after the tour, Brad mentioned in a small chat at the merch table that we can expect to hear from them again with some new material planned to record once back and rested. Check out the set list and photo gallery below for a recap of the show.
