Great news for indie nostalgics of the late 90s; the reunited Rocket From The Crypt is heading out on a spring tour that brings them through Philadelphia in April. The San Diego seven-piece had a fantastic flurry of output between 1995 and 2002, most notably including ’98′s Scream, Dracula, Scream and ’01′s Group Sounds. The band headlines Underground Arts on April 4th, and tickets go on sale Friday at noon via Ticketweb. Below, watch RFTC playing “On A Rope” on Top of the Pops in 1998, and check out a more local-ish clip of the band rocking out “Come See Come Saw” in Asbury Park by Philly videogapher Pilgrim’s Progress.
