XPN Weekend Arts Crawl…Some last chance glimpses and on into 2014!



This weekend is your last chance to see the world premiere production of Dylan Thomas’s A CHILD’S CHRISTMAS IN WALES realized with actors and puppets by Lantern Theater Company.  Limited seating is still available at St. Stephen’s Theater.

PTG_Alum_Chase-Riboud-1[1] There’s much to see at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, including two exhibitions that end soon…Leger  is up through Sunday and the gorgeous steles made by Philadelphia native Barabara Chase Riboud in her first American show are on view through January 20th.

If you just can’t stand that the holidays are over, you can still surround yourself with Twelfth Night festivites at Hagley Museum and Library, the Gingerbread House display at Peddler’s Village, A Brandywine Christmas and Yuletide at Winterthur but only through the end of this weekend.

Internationally recognized Philadelphia aritst Peter Paone’s fantastical wildflower paintings are on display at the Woodmere Art Museum through January 19th.

Quintessence Theatre Group’s The Wind in the Willows ends Sunday…David London brings his Magic Outside The Box to the theater at South Street Magic Saturday…The Japanese House in Fairmount Park is offering a workshop in catooning based on anime known as Manga Saturday.
