Local alt-rock outfit Goodnight Lights headline Broad St.’s Boot & Saddle tonight.  The Collingswood, NJ natives released a blistering new track “Convince” at the end of 2013, prequel-ing a 5-song EP set for release this year.  In addition to the EP, Goodnight Lights are currently filming a music video that will be completed at tonight’s show.  Tickets and information for the 21+ show with Shorty Boy Boy and Roof Doctor can be found here.  Listen to “Convince” below.

Northampton, MA’s Speedy Ortiz jump down for a show at Golden Tea House tonight.  The punk band released their debut full-length Major Arcana last August, following it up with a widely anticipated EP in December called Real Hair.  Tickets and information for tonight’s show in West Philly with Bleeding Rainbow, Grass is Green and Hermit Thrushes can be found here.  Watch the video for “Tiger Tank” below.

Siren Records hosts Ma Jolie tonight with Teen Agers, Townhouses, Divided Heaven and Squidd Subject A.  Ma Jolie made waves in Philadelphia in 2013, releasing their hot-tempered full-length Polars on Lame-O Records last year.  Beth Ann Downy got the scoop on the four-pieces approach to playing punk music in an interview you can check out here. For tickets and information about tonight’s all-ages show in Doylestown, go to the Facebook event page.
