Listen to a funky new St. Vincent song from her forthcoming album (playing Union Transfer 2/28)

New York based experimental indie rock musician Annie Clark, better known as St. Vincent, recently released a “Digital Witness,” a song off her forthcoming self-titled album. A real funky tune filled with horns, some synth, and a chorus that has Clark singing “What’s the point of even sleeping / If I can’t show it, you can’t see me / What’s the point of doing anything” over a dirty bass line. This is the second single off St. Vincent, and I’d say its gearing up to be one of my most anticipated releases of the year.
