British indie-rock outfit Yuck will play at Johnny Brenda’s tonight. The band released its second album, and its first without former lead singer Daniel Blumberg, Glow & Behold last year. Their sound is often compared to Dinosaur Jr. and Sonic Youth. Watch their latest video for “Somewhere” below and get tickets here.

The Fire welcomes local favorite September Call-Up, aka Christian Bitto, to its stage tonight. Bitto released his debut album Air and Sleep last summer. His take on acoustic indie rock is smooth, thought-provoking and really packs a punch if you’re paying attention to the lyrics. Listen to “DeNiro” below and get tickets here.

Philly power-punk trio No Other will play at PhilaMOCA tonight as part of this month’s Tuesday Tune-out concert. Last year, the band released its debut EP I Believe In Werner Herzog which sounded like a mix of ’70s power pop and ’90s alt-rock.
