Philly chamber-rock outfit Buried Beds return to the site of their album release party for In Spirit tonight, headlining Boot and Saddle in South Philly with emo-tinged Albany crew Northern Faces and stylish Philly rock trio The Fleeting Ends. Buried Beds are in the midst of a winter tour in support of In Spirit; check out the music video for “Children of the Sea” below, and get more information and find tickets for the show at the XPN Concert Calendar.

Eclectic Austin musician Carrie Rodriguez is many things – a fiddle player, a powerhouse vocalist, a songwriter – and tonight her winter tour brings her to World Cafe Live for a headlining show. Her fourth studio LP, Give Me All You Got, was released a year ago, and her sound spans roots, folk, country and pop. Watch the video for “Cry For Love” below and get tickets and information on the show here.

Garage punk party rockers The Detroit Cobras headline Johnny Brenda’s with support from locals Residuels and Killer Bangs. It’s a high energy bill, and some nice signs of life from the Cobras, who’s last major release came in 2008. Check out the video for “The Cha-Cha Twist” below and get tickets and info on the show at the XPN Concert Calendar.
