Waxahatchee (aka singer-songwriter Katie Crutchfield) will play at First Unitarian Church tonight. Crutchfield began the alt-folk project back in 2011 and has released two albums under the moniker (which was named after Alabama’s Waxahatchee Creek) with the most recent being 2013′s Cerulean Salt. Watch the video for the crunchy-but-catchy “Misery Over Dispute” below and get tickets here.

A couple weeks ago, Pine Barons joined us for their Key Studio Session and tonight they will play at Kung Fu Necktie. The New Jersey natives released their self-titled debut album last year and if you like harmonized indie-rock with experimental leanings, you’re bound to enjoy Pine Barons. Check out “Since I’ve Been Away” below and get tickets here.

The Fire welcomes up-and-coming local artist Candice Martello to its stage tonight. Martello’s voice is pretty but carries lots of emotional weight and depth. She is currently working on her debut full-length but in the meantime check out “Out On Your Own” below and get more details on the show here.
