Influenced by bands like Velvet Underground, Opal, The Feelies and Half Japanese, Wareham himself was on influence on musicians including including Jim James, Thurston Moore, Low, Mazzy Star and many others. Wareham’s dreamy, falsetto voice and singular reverbed psychedelic guitar sound have been at the heart of his voice, starting with three incredible albums he released with Galaxie 500 and followed by seven studio albums in Luna.
