Tonight’s Concert Picks: Phosphorescent at Union Transfer, You Blew It! at The Fire, and Potty Mouth at Kung Fu Necktie

WXPN welcomes folk / Americana luminaries Phosphorescent at Union Transfer tonight. Rescheduled from a snowed-out show last month, the show will feature singer-songwriter Matthew Houck and his bandmates showcasing material from last year’s critical favorite Muchacho, as well as the band’s extensive back-catalog. Tickets for tonight’s all-ages show are $18 and can be purchased here.

Philly punkers Secret Plot to Destroy the Entire Universe and Marietta are playing with You Blew It!, Prawn and Crying tonight at The Fire. Prawn and You Blew It!, both signed with Topshelf Records, are on an East Coast tour eventually leading back to You Blew It!’s home state of Florida where they’ll celebrate their record release show. Tickets for the show at The Fire tonight are $8 in advance and $10 and can be purchased here.

Indie garage rock band Potty Mouth plays tonight at Kung Fu Necktie. The all-female punk four-piece are on the road until March promoting their latest album, Hell Bent, released via Old Flame Records this past September. Tickets for the 21+ show are $10 and can be purchased here.
