Wye Oak release new single “Glory” off of Shriek

Hot off their World Cafe showcase at SXSW, Wye Oak have released the first single from their new record Shriek.  “Glory” sees the Baltimore duo working harmoniously together once again, despite settling on opposite sides of the country following the release of their 2011 LP Civilian.  Vocalist Jenn Wasner floats and glides over Andy Stack’s crisp, staccato drums while trembling synths find common ground between the two very different styles.  Check out a photo recap of Wye Oak’s World Cafe showcase here and pick up tickets to their May 3rd show at Lancaster’s Chameleon Club or May 5th show at Union Transferhere.
