Desert-bred rockers Tinariwen will bring their eclectic mix of guitar rock and African rhythms to the Prince Music Theater stage tonight. Due to civil unrest in Mali, the band recorded their latest album Emmaar far away from home in California, an experience that heavily influenced the recording process and final product. Watch “ISLEGH TAGHRAM TIFHAMAM” from the new album below and get tickets here.

Pop-punk supergroup The Sound of Animals Fighting is back tonight for round 2 of their Trocadero takeover. The band, which includes Anthony Green and Craig Owens, released three records before going off the radar in 2008. No official news of a comeback album has surfaced yet, but fans speculate that the band has more than a short tour up their sleeves. Get tickets here and watch “Another Leather Lung” below.

Local indie-pop band Tutlie celebrate their debut album Young Cries tonight with a record release show at Bourbon & Branch. If lead single “Sky in Your Bones” which arrived last month is anything to go by, the album will be full of pop gems with free-flowing melodies. Get tickets here and listen to the ethereal track below.
