Photo via facebook.com/adaywithoutlovemusicConsidering their name, you’d expect A Day Without Love to be a pretty dark band. But darkness is just one facet of their new release Confessions of the Innocent Mind which, in their own words, is “a side A/B single about clarity, darkness, and introspective perspectives of life”. There’s a hard rock edge and urgency to “Expose” which finds the band in full rebellion mode as they sing “remove monopoly and give us our freedom” while “Save” is a quiet number that channels existential angst. Celebrate the new release with the band at their upcoming local shows: April 1st at The Fire (tickets here) and April 17th at World Cafe Live (tickets here).
