Thievery Corporation and Polica are playing the Tower Theatre on Saturday, May 19th. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 28th. Thievery Corporation, the DC based duo of Rob Garza and Eric Hilton are releasing their new album, Saudade, on April 1st. Saudade draws its influence from classic Brazilian musicians like Antonio Carlos Jobim, Gal Costa, and Luis Bonfá, along with Serge Gainsbourg, Ennio Morricone, and more modern artists like electro-samba pioneer Isabelle Antena.
