Folk-pop outfit Wild Child is in town tonight for a show at Johnny Brenda’s. The band released their second LP The Runaround back in October which found them sticking to their earnest songwriting and striking string arrangements. Emerging from Texas just a few years ago, they’re paving their own path with each heartfelt lyric. Watch “The Runaround” below and get tickets here.

Americana ensemble Hurray for the Riff Raff is set to rock the World Café Live stage tonight in support of its new album Small Town Heroes. Having released a new record almost every year for the past four years, there’s never a shortage of material or inspiration for the New Orleans band. Led by singer-songwriter Alynda Lee Segarra, the band is set to make their national television debut on ‘Conan’ later this month. Watch “St. Roch Blues” below and get tickets here.

Swedish indie rockers The Sounds will headline a show at Union Transfer tonight. The band released its fifth album Weekend at the end of last year and have perfected a poppy new wave sound similar to Blondie and The Cars. Watch “Hurt The Ones I Love” below and get tickets here.
