Tonight, singer-songwriter Juana Molina will play at Boot and Saddle. The Argentina native released her moody sixth album Wed 21 late last year and is known her songs’ complex arrangements and undeniable sincerity. Watch “Eras” below and get tickets here.

North Philly’s Family Vacation will bring it’s upbeat indie pop to World Cafe Live’s Broad Street Music Group Showcase tonight joining other local favorites The Phosphenes, A Day Without Love, and more. Carolina Chocolate Drops will hit the Strand Capitol Performing Arts Center stage tonight for some old-time string action. The band just announced lead singer Rhiannon Giddens’ involvement with super-group collaborative project “Lost on the River: The New Basement Tapes”. The eclectic group of musicians (Elvis Costello, Jim James of My Morning Jacket, Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes, and Marcus Mumford of Mumford & Sons) will write music to newly discovered Bob Dylan lyrics from the 1967 Basement Tapes sessions.
