Athens, Georgia oddball popsters of Montreal are closing in on their second decade of surreal music making. Last year, the band released its twelfth full-length, Lousy with Sylvianbriar; below, you can hear them perform its single “Fugitive Air” in a gigwise session. Tickets and information for the band’s all-ages show at Union Transfer tonight can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar.

The March installment of the new Drunk Piano party hits Underground Arts tonight. The late-night jam session of a versatile group of Philly musicians has been happening since the winter, and is helmed by keyboardist / sax player Jay Davidson (who plays with Swift Technique, among others). The lively show mixes in a variety of other disciplines, including comedy, theater, burlesque and liquor-fueled interviews that culminate in a musical performance. Tickets and information on the performance can be found here; check out photos from last month’s installment here and catch the madness starting at 11 p.m.
