Watch Spoon play a new song, “Rent I Pay,” from their NPR Music showcase

Spoon are releasing their new album, They Want My Soul, on August 5 on Loma Vista. The ten song collection includes a cover of Ann Margaret’s “I Just Don’t Understand”. Soul is the band’s first new album in four years. Yesterday, they debuted “Rent I Pay,” the lead-off song on the album at Le Poisson Rouge for NPR Music. Watch the live performance of the song below, along with the video for the studio version of it. Spoon are on the lineup for the Philly Made In America shows over Labor Day Weekend.
