Julian Booker and Jesse Soifer AKA Bird Watcher are at Bourbon and Branch tonight along with Paperhaus and Auctioneer.  They recently played the Ardmore Music Hall along with Beth Sorrentino and Marco Benevenuto.  Their highly anticipated LP is due out this summer.  The show starts at 8pm and tickets are $10.  Full info here.

World Cafe Live welcomes Boy Wonder tonight.  Lead singer, Andres Cole sites The Police as a major influence in his music making and career and says he “fell in love with rock music at the age of 6 after hearing Roxanne.”  A definite highlight for Boy Wonder this year was playing a SXSW showcase on a boat, which you can watch below.  Catch their funky show tonight.

Rowdy Americana bunch Levee Drivers join Ron Gallo, The Lawsuits, TJ Kong and a band from Lititz called Eight Legged Prawn in celebrating both American Diamond Records and its co-founder Marley McNamara’s birthday tonight at Boot and Saddle. Tickets and info on the 21+ show can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar.

Thanks for your continued support of Bird Watcher–just a heads up that in addition to our steady lineup of Julian Booker, Ashley Cubbler, Ben Rosen and Mark Rybaltowski, Swift Technique’s Andy Bree and Midwestern Exposure’s Forrest Wright will be joining us on guitar and pedal steel this evening!
