Chicago alt-rocke four-piece Veruca Salt will be at TLA tonight.  The band reunited after a fifteen year (too) long hiatus, and have been touring all around the U.S.  About a month ago, they released a new single titled “It’s Holy,” which you can hear below. Find tickets for the all ages show here. Doors open at 7pm.

Feel-good hip-hop/reggae group, Michael Franti and Spearhead perform tonight at the Mann.  You’ve probably had their catchy tune “I’m Alive (Life Sounds Like)” stuck in your head since hearing it on the radio or in your workout class, so now’s your chance to hear it live.  About a week ago, they released a new single “11:59″ featuring vocalist Sonna Rele.  Listen to 11:59 below, and find info and tickets for their Soulshine Tour show at the Skyline Stage here.

See renowned Cuban Son Band, Conjunto Chapptoin y Sus Estrellas, tonight at World Cafe.  Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to see the flavorful Latin 11-piece band perform live.  Doors open at 6:30pm for this all ages show.  Find info and tickets here.
