Toronto pop punk group PUP return to Philly on November 6th. They quartet plays music that’s melodic, loud and aggressive – as described by Frank Yang (of the Chromewaves blog) – and released self-titled debut in April, to critical praise from NME, Noisey and Stereogum.

PUP have a reputation for great, energetic live shows (along with some banister climbing and crowd-surfing). They showcased this in their video for “Reservior” showing a crazy, somewhat violent show. They’ve also released a cover of Buzzcock’s classic “Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t’ve” for Chicago’s A.V. Club.

Right now, PUP is on tour with the Front Bottoms in UK, but they will return to Philly to play The Barbary November 6th. Get more details here. Listen to “Dark Days” from their Indie Rock Hit Parade Live Session below.
