Tonight’s Concert Picks: John Legend at the Mann Center, The Box Tiger at The Fire, Song Dogs at Boot and Saddle

Philly R&B legend John Legend plays the Mann Center tonight. The nine time Grammy winner played a wonderful show at Verizon Hall earlier this year, in support of Love in the Future. Indie rock group The Box Tiger will be playing at The Fire tonight. The group recently played a stellar set at this year’s Boston Calling Festival. The Toronto-formed, Maine-based quartet released a stirring new album Set Fire last year. The powerful vocals of Sonia Sturino, which can easily rival of  Listen to the thrilling tune of “Knives” from Set Fire below. Philly Americana rock group Song Dogs perform at Boot and Saddle tonight. Last year, the group released Wild Country. Recently, they released the sprawling rock epic “Grandaddy’s Gun” from 2012′s recording sessions with Bill Moriarty.
