Ryan Adams must have had as much fun as we did during his headlining slot at XPN Fest.  The rock singer-songwriter has already announced plans to return to the city on November 19th for a show at the Tower Theater, which will be in support of his forthcoming self-titled record.

With a release date for September 8th, the LP will be Adams’ first effort in three years.  Festival goers got a sneak preview of the record during the Saturday night portion at the Susquehanna Bank Center, as it was the first time Adams played several of the new tracks live.  “You can listen now and you might think hey, that’s cool,” Adams says. “But then when the record’s out and you like it, you can tell people I saw that song the first time he played it!”  Check out stellar photos and a recap of his festival performance here.  Tickets go on sale Friday, August 15th and will be available here.  Watch Ryan Adams play “Stay With Me” live below.
