A wedding ceremony goes irreverently awry in the latest video from Philly’s TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb. The tragicomic short was filmed at Gloria Dei / Old Swede’s Church in Fishtown by Caitlin McCann – whose work has previously been featured on The Key in a music video by Pine Barons and photos of Katie Frank and the Pheromones – and stars a few names from the Philly theater scene. Pig Iron Theater Company founder Dito Van Reigersberg (AKA Martha Graham Cracker) plays alongside Bryan Bierman in the lead role as well as Corinna Burns, of  Pig Iron and various other theater companies in Philly.

The song is featured on the band’s March release Kong, which will get an expanded digital re-release next Tuesday, September 9th, via local upstart American Diamonds Recordings. The band also performs this Thursday, September 2nd, with fellow ADR artists Levee Drivers and Ron Gallo at the Communion Philly showcase at Underground Arts. Tickets and information can be found here.
