If you’re desperately reaching out to hold on to any lingering notes of summer, Cruisr is here to grab your hand and pull you back into the hottest season. Just a few weeks ago the Philadelphia indie-pop four-piece took an eraser to a vowel in their name and dropped the title track off of their debut EP All Over; this week, they are already back to give us another taste. Those of you that know a thing or two about Cruisr will notice that their new single “Kidnap Me” sounds a bit familiar, and right you are. This is a tweaked version of the previously recorded breezy, feel-good tune. If you managed to put a halt on hopping into your car, rolling down the windows, and blasting the original, this time around it will be full steam ahead. Trust us, the new “Kidnap Me” has a top jangley summertime vibe. We’ve marked our calenders for the release of debut EP All Over on September 23, and so should you (or preorder it now). Cruisr will perform October 8 at Boot and Saddle. For tickets and more information check out the XPN Concert Calender.
