Restorations has continued to pump out new material this past month, including a music video and a new single called “Separate Songs,” all leading up to the eagerly-anticipated October release of LP3. The Philly-based punk outfit last week teased a second song from the album; this one is called “Misprint,” and it’s a winner. Twanging guitars and pulsing percussion kick the song off before pulling back to let Jon Loudon’s raw, raspy vocals to ring forth. The song is stacked with layered instruments and voices, from the moving bassline to accent guitar parts to supporting harmonized vocals, creating a full and complete sound. The rest of LP3 drops October 28th and you can pre-order the album here. In addition, the group has announced a brief tour of the east coast, including a stop at the First Unitarian Church on November 15th. For more information on tickets, visit the XPN Concert Calendar.
