Local shoegazers Nothing have released a new video for an acoustic version of their song “B&E,” taken from the band’s 2013 effort Guilty of Everything.  The video comes in tandem with a reissue of the band’s 2011 LP Downward Years to Come, which includes new additions like this acoustic cut.

Songwriter Dominic Palermo created the clip by sifting through hours of “home invasion footage,” piecing together grainy, black and white images of masked men breaking and entering.  The song, meanwhile takes on a whole new life as a subdued acoustic track, getting in touch with its more beautiful, gentler side compared with the gritty and dark original take.

Nothing have also announced a special evening of acoustic performances at Ortlieb’s with Sad Actor and Mark Lanky for Sunday, October 5th.  More information for the 21+ show can be found here.  Watch “B&E” below.
