On Saturday, November 1st, Philadelphia singer-songwriter Chris Kasper will bring his full band to Johnny Brenda’s for a one-off show alongside Maitland and The Bones of J.R. Jones. This will be Kasper’s first and only full-band concert in Philadelphia since October of last year following the release of his most recent album Bagabones.

Kasper hasn’t been idle, though.  The folk rocker spent much of 2014 playing sets at The Friendly Gathering in Timber Ridge, VT and Floyd Festival in Floyd, VA while still finding time to join The Wood Brothers, G. Love, Amos Lee, and Fruition on their respective tours.

In anticipation of this homecoming event, Kasper is giving his fans a special 8-track digital download. The sampler contains two tracks from each of his prior releases – Flying BoyChasing Another Sundown, The First Hundred Years Are The Hardest, and this year’s Bagabones. The collection is available now (but only for a limited time) as a name-your-own-price download on Kasper’s Bandcamp.

The release is a must-have for any folk fanatics who may be looking to acquire all of the Chris Kasper staples, or conversely for anyone looking to get into folk music with a diverse array of tracks.  Listen to the sample below and get more information for the 21+ show at Johnny Brenda’s here.
