Fiancé release summery new video for “Climb the Stairs”

Fiancé‘s new video for “Climb the Stairs,” premiered this week on Wondering Sound, documents a group of friends enjoying what is perhaps the last house party of the summer.  The band is playing in the living room while the fire pit is sparking on the deck, shenanigans are happening in the kitchen and kids are throwing in a last-ditch effort to make some memories.  “Climb the Stairs” is taken from the Newark, DE’s debut EP1 and follows the video for “Era.”

The laid-back vibe of the song is reminiscent of UK pop acts like Swim Deep, but without the edge.  In its place is a rolling wave of sparkling guitars and shimmering percussive elements that wash over the listener in cycles.  Check out the video below listen to EP1 here.
