The Lone Bellow | Photo by Andy BarronWith their sophomore LP expected early next year, Brooklyn Americana favorites The Lone Bellow announced spring tour dates this week that will bring them to Philadelphia on March 24th for a headlining show at Underground Arts. Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 21st at noon via the venue’s website.

Following a rousing set at this summer’s Philadelphia Folk Festival, The Lone Bellow released a new single, “Then Came the Morning,” this October. Singer Zach Williams told NPR Music that the song was inspired by Vegas-era Elvis: “It has tinges of our gospel-music upbringing: The piano melody especially highlights the way my grandmother can bang on her old upright when she sings ‘Uncloudy Day’ every Thanksgiving.”

Listen to “Then Came the Morning” below and get tickets and information on the show at the XPN Concert Calendar.
