Philly indie-pop foursome Cruisr just released their music video for their upbeat anthem “All Over” via BuzzFeed today. The track’s cheerful demeanor is mirrored in the video’s bright-colored aesthetics and seamless transitions. Utilizing snippets from iconic movies, some of which include Pulp Fiction and The Shining, the video animates the scenes with glowing pastels fitting the indie pop music to a T. Director Chris Carboni weighed in on the ideas behind the animated effects saying:

“I knew I wanted to echo the idea of constantly cycling back and forth between these two extremes by having continuous transitions – no cuts – which resulted in a lot of work on both the design and animation end. Every shot had to be constructed to blend into the next.”

You can watch the music below, and head over to their BuzzFeed spotlight for some animated GIF fun. Cruisr is currently on tour with The 1975 and Young Rising Sons, who will be playing Tower Theater December 3rd. For more information on the show, visit the XPN Concert Calendar.
