Local singer-songwriter Chistopher Davis-Shannon has covered “Christmas in New Orleans,” popularized by Louis Armstrong in 1955. The recording is up on Bandcamp for a name-your-own-price so you can get it for free, though proceeds from paid downloads will be donated to Rock to the Future.

Khari Mateen collaborated with his saxophone-playing father Radji Mateen Sr. on “Thinking About You.” In his comments on the song, the younger Mateen highlights his father’s career, mentioning that he’s played with Dice Raw, Scratch of The Roots and recorded for Snoop Dogg.
