Hot off of a music video airing on Rage TV in Australia, Philly’s QQQ have released a new EP called After Party Collection. The four-song record expands on the beat-oriented electronic music of previous video “The Ebullient” (which is included on the EP) and stitches warped synths with found sounds and textured samples.

The flow of energy is very striking, opening with the frenetic and tense “Doggy” before morphing into the chillwave, space age stupor of “Your Way” with its eerie vocal sample taken from an old music education tape. Things get dark again with “The Ebullient” and its ominous static flickering (check out the video here). EP closer “City Boys” brightens up again with buoyant synth hits and clanking percussion.

Listen to the full EP below and check out QQQ live at Kung Fu Necktie on January 14th or at The Fire on January 16th.  More information for both shows can be found here.
