Irreverent Philly crew OhBree got in the holiday music mood this week with a mind-bendy cover of Eartha Kitt’s “Santa Baby.” It takes the breezy jazzy pop song and re-invents it with avant-rock horns, discordant breakdowns and atypical rhythms. The band has an amusing perspective on the song as well, per Soundcloud.

Here’s a song about an adult who requires a lot from Santa. A very needy adult. An adult who doesn’t seem to have a firm grasp on the value of money… and also probably time and physics. Some of this stuff isn’t even Santa’s to give! Which will most likely be problematic for our “protagonist”.

Funny stuff. Give it a listen below.
