Philly pop punkers The Weaks, are one of five bands involved in the charitable split EP from Lame-O Records, Strength in Weakness. The split comes out Feb. 3, and The Weaks’ track “Call Me Away” is the second to last song the label has shared (we’re still waiting on Beach Slang). All proceeds from this charity split will be going to United Cerebral Palsy fund.

“Call Me Away” features a head-bobbing sound packed with heavy drums and catchy guitar solos that are so familiar to fans of the Philly duo.The Weaks will also be playing along side Modern Baseball, Spraynard, and Marietta for the Strength in Weakness release shows at the First Unitarian Church and Saint Vitus in Brooklyn on Valentine’s Day and Feb. 15 respectively. Both shows will also be benefiting the UCP charity. Tickets for the show on Valentine’s Day sold out but tickets for the Saint Vitus date are still available.

The Weaks were also just announced to play the Asbury Park Skate & Surf Festival with split friends Spraynard, Modern Baseball, and Beach Slang. The Philly rockers also did an in-studio video session during recording, which you can check out below. Listen to other songs from the split here.
