Philadelphia folk poppers Good Old War have been kind of quiet for a couple years. But with their recent signing to Nettwerk, the band announced a spring tour, which begins at Rough Trade in Brooklyn on March 30 and wraps up at the First Unitarian Church in Philly on April 12th.

After departing the band last July to move to Atlanta, drummer Tim Arnold will re-join the band for this run of dates. The band’s other two founding members – Keith Goodwin and Dan Schwartz – have been spending time in Nashville working on their fourth album, a follow-up to 2012’s Come Back As Rain, which is set to come out this summer. Get tickets and more information on the First Unitarian Church show at the XPN Concert Calendar, and listen to their cover of Delaney and Bonnie’s “Never Ending Song of Love” below.
