We feel like we know Chill Moody fairly well. Since the West Philly hip-hop artist dropped his debut album in 2010, he’s performed at The Key Studio Session Live showcase, as well as a video session (not to mention his slots at The Roots Picnic, a slew of collabs and music videos, and even a short documentary of his sold-out TLA show, released in early 2013).

With that being said, we see Chill through a new lens via his latest mini-documentary series, titled “Progression.” Chapter one goes further than behind the scenes, essentially delving within the mind of Chill, with him narrating, “Let me tell you a story. Better yet, let me show you.” The video focuses on his headlining performance at NYC’s SOBs for HOT 97’s “Who’s Next Live,” label meetings, as well as the everyday life of the emcee.

Help the hometown hero celebrate his 30th birthday celebration “#30isthenew30” at the TLA on Saturday, March 7.
