Prince has released his latest single, “What If?” Listen after the jump.

Prince premiered the song (with 3RDEYEGIRL) WFPK in Louisville, KY to mark the start of his “Hit and Run” tour. The song is a re-do of a tune by Christian singer-songwriter Nichole Nordeman.

The New Pornographers are headed back out on a summer tour and one of their stops will be in Philly. The New Pornographers will play Union Transfer in Philadelphia on July 12th, as they continue touring is support of last year’s release “Brill Bruisers.” Read more about the new Pornographers at

Happy 70th birthday Eric Clapton!

Eric Clapton’s 70th birthday is March 30th but he’ll be celebrating in May with two shows at Madison Square Garden: May 1st & 2nd. The concerts will also mark another anniversary: it’s been 46 years since Eric Clapton first performed at MSG with Cream, opening the “new” Madison Square Garden in 1968. He’s played there 45 times since. Clapton’s band for the May shows will featuire: Paul Carrack, Steve Gadd, Nathan East, Chris Stainton, Sharon White, and Michelle John, as well as opening support from Andy Fairweather Low and the Low Riders. Tickets go on sale Monday, March 16 at 11 a.m to Chase cardholders, and to the general public on Friday, March 20 at 11 a.m.
