There’s no hiding our love for the Toronto indie-pop band Alvvays. Since the release of their self-titled album last July, frontwoman Molly Rankin and the band have visited WXPN several times.

The band did an Indie Rock Hit Parade session last November and David Dye had them on World Cafe in January. Dye was first introduced to Alvvays two years ago when World Cafe visited Toronto for a Sense of Place.

Alvvays return to town tonight, opening for The Decemberists at the Academy of Music; tickets and more information on the show can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar. Below, download a World Cafe performance of “Adult Diversion.”
