Drum roll, please…
The lineup for Sunday, July 26 of the annual XPNFest is in, and we’re psyched to announce that Grace Potter, George Ezra and The Wailers will headline the third day of the fest at Susquehanna Bank Center. Chances are you’ve heard ’em on WXPN, but catch a few tracks from these headliners below.
We hold Grace Potter near and dear. Over the years, Potter has made a name for herself as the queen of modern Americana. In 2012, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals wowed fans at Coachella, and we were lucky to have them at XPN’s NonCOMMvention the same year. We’re ecstatic to have her back. Listen to “Alive Tonight” off of her forthcoming solo album, Midnight.
English singer-songwriter George Ezra pleased earbuds around the world upon the release of his catchy and soulful single “Budapest,” which reached top 10 charts globally. At just 21, he’s a force to be reckoned with, as his debut album Wanted on Voyage crept to the top of charts in the UK. We’re pleased to catch him mid-tour to rock XPN fest.
There isn’t a reggae group more legendary than The Wailers, and we’ll be granted a gift of their live performance on the Camden waterfront. They rose to fame alongside Bob Marley, but have performed with leading musicians like Stevie Wonder, Sting and Carlos Santana. For closing night of XPNFest, they’ll play Legend in its entirety. Watch them perform at last year’s BoomTown Fair below.
Reserved tickets for will be available to WXPN members via an online pre-sale this Thursday, April 16 starting at 10 a.m.; reserved tickets for the general public will be available this Friday, April 17 starting at noon. More information can be found at the XPoNential Music Festival homepage.
