Worldtown Soundsystem conquers the streets in “The Boutique” video, heads to Rittenhouse venue this Saturday
Members of 12-piece Worldtown Soundsystem come from all over the world: Jamaica, Nigeria, Brazil, Alabama, and Vermont, joining forces right here in home sweet home, Philadelphia.
As expected, this multicultural band infuses an eclectic global mix of sound, and completely rocks it live, two qualities shown in the new video for their electronic/house/reggae track, “The Boutique.”
The video is fitting for the upbeat track, seeing as Worldtown Soundsystem entices some hardcore dance moves, conquers the streets of Philly during Chinatown’s Night Market, rocks out in a subway station, etc.
Catch them headlining Coda this Saturday, April 18 for their 4th anniversary as a band. They’re doing it big (dancers, installation artists, lighting/projection artists, an opera singer and more). The event is 21+, more information can be found here.
