We already know that Eric Slick (drummer for Dr. Dog / half of the Lithuania duo) is a creator of great music. The release of his latest Selects Mix via the music journal Singles Club proves that he’s a curator of great music as well.

Singles Club describes Slick’s compilation of eight tracks as “a breezy half-hour set to get you through those mid-week blues.” Slick’s nod to Philly is “Gooseneck” from Hermit Thrushes, a band that he once dubbed his “favorite band in Philadelphia” for KCRW. It’s a relatively calm mix, overall, and we thank Slick for mellowing us out for a bit.

You can also catch him in a recent video telling the story behind his Ludwig Drums (literally and figuratively).

Lithuania’s debut LP Hardcore Friends is scheduled for release this summer via Lame-O Records.
